Fact-Finding Investigations
Brinkman & Chersky Consulting conducts professional fact-finding investigations using a single investigator or two-person team model. Our approach is to respond in as timely a manner as possible, limiting the scope to involve the fewest number of people without compromising the thoroughness or fairness of the investigation. Great care is taken to protect the rights of all parties involved, maintaining confidentiality to the highest degree possible.
Brinkman & Chersky Consulting investigators conduct in-depth interviews with the complainant, alleged violator, identified corroborating witnesses and other relevant third parties. When necessary, re-interviewing occurs to gain further information or reconcile inconsistencies in accounts. Testimony and evidence, as well as the credibility of the parties, are carefully evaluated. A report of findings is produced with recommendations for appropriate disciplinary and other follow-up action. The entire process is documented in a manner to withstand the potential scrutiny of a legal proceeding.
