Professional Training Programs
Our Training Philosophy
The factors that might lead to allegations of discrimination or harassment are complex. Our programs focus on understanding the array of perspectives that are based on cultural differences, hierarchy, life experiences and economic conditions. We find it important to become familiar with your work culture, language, norms and values and incorporate these into the design and content of the program.
We work closely with the appropriate organization representatives in all phases, including:
- Initial assessment
- Clarification of training goals and objectives
- Program design
- Training implementation
- Evaluation
- Follow-up
Based on clients' feedback and Brinkman & Chersky Consulting's experience, live and interactive training programs conducted by experienced trainers are more effective than other forms of training such as video and electronically based programs. By involving the audience in the training, participants experience a sense of ownership of the learning concepts. Brinkman & Chersky Consulting's programs are:
- Practical in nature
- Geared toward real workplace situations
- Organization-specific and
- Presented by a male-female team who models in practice the material that is presented
The team approach maximizes the effectiveness of the programs and provides a comfortable forum for questions and discussion. The team also demonstrates a variety of workplace scenarios ranging from confronting inappropriate behavior to initially receiving a complaint.
While we address legal issues, we do not use the threat of legal liability as the primary means of raising awareness.
